This manual is not just theory or conjecture. The concepts presented are the results of more than 30 years of tried and proven experience. Author, John G. Kappas, Ph.D. has worked with over 30,000 individuals privately with different needs and problems. The Professional Hypnotism Manual is the culmination of his research and success helping others achieve the quality of life they desire.
I consider Dr. Kappas to be a mentor in my professional growth. The Professional Hypnotism Manual was a required text at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, where I acquired by accreditation in Hypnotherapy. I feel it is a must for all hypnotic libraries. It can be read and appreciated by professionals and laymen alike. I highly recommend this book.
Dr. Kappas has devoted his productive life to furthering the understanding of the uses of hypnosis. In 1968 Dr. Kappas founded the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, America’s first nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy. In 1973, Dr. Kappas literally defined the profession of hypnotherapy when he authored the definition of “Hypnotherapist” in the Federal Dictionary of Occupational Titles, a definition that remains unchanged and in force today. Dr. Kappas was also the founder and first President to the Hypnotherapist’s Union, Local 472, founder and first President of the American Hypnosis Association, founding member and former vice President of the Hypnotists Examining Council. In addition, he has written extensively on the subject of hypnotherapy and is recognized as an authority in the field.
